Abstract

The 1st September 2004 was a dark day in the history of the 'J&M Airport Road Hotel Apartments & Leisure Centre', as a structure of the proposed project collapsed, killing 11 and injuring 26! Government moved swiftly to investigate possible causes and chart out a way forward. This brief throws some light on events that have taken place since disaster struck, culminating into a task force to review the status quo of sizeable projects currently under construction.
