Consulting Engineers’ Kampala Meeting A
Resounding Success

Abstract
Uganda was host once again to the Africa-wide consulting
engineering fraternity in March 2005. The continental grouping,
under the designation GAMA for Group of Africa Member
Associations of the international federation of consulting
engneers, 'FIDIC' had its annual general meeting as well as a
conference in Kampala that was widely attended, both from
within and from outside the continent under the main theme that
may be summed up into 'How best can we accelerate growth,
participation and influence on the development of Africa by its
nationals?'
